Your new company
We are currently recruiting for an Attendance Administrator to join a busy secondary school in St Helens on an interim basis. This is a full-time, ongoing temporary position, starting as soon as possible. Hours are 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday.
The successful candidate will play an important role within the school office, supporting the effective monitoring and administration of pupil attendance.
Your new role
- Monitoring and updating daily pupil attendance records
- Following up unexplained absences
- Liaising with parents and carers regarding attendance
- Producing attendance reports and maintaining accurate records
- Supporting with attendance queries from staff and senior leaders
- Updating pupil information on the school's management system
- Providing general administrative support to the wider school office
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information professionally
- Confident working in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Good IT skills and attention to detail
- Previous school administration or attendance experience would be highly advantageous
