What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supporting secondary-aged students with SEMH needs and behavioural challenges to re-engage with learning.
  • Working across a range of Sheffield schools and specialist education settings, including environments focused on behaviour support, emotional regulation, and personal development.
  • Providing targeted one-to-one or small-group support tailored to individual needs.
  • Assisting with classroom routines, behaviour de-escalation strategies, and day-to-day learning activities.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with secondary-aged children or young people with SEMH needs, behavioural challenges, or additional support needs.
  • A background in care or support roles, such as social care, youth work, mental health support, health and social care, or similar.
  • A calm, patient, and resilient approach, particularly in challenging situations.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Relevant qualifications or training (desirable but not essential).
