No two days on reception are ever the same!As the first point of contact for students, parents, visitors and staff, you'll be the face and voice of the school. You'll play a key role in keeping the front office running smoothly while delivering excellent customer service with a smile.Your responsibilities will include: Meeting and greeting visitors
Managing the busy school telephone system
Responding to emails and enquiries
Checking visitors and contractors in and out of school
General administrative support
Accepting and processing deliveries
Providing a professional and welcoming front-of-house service
We're looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and a willingness to get stuck in. Schools are busy environments, so you'll need to be organised, proactive and adaptable.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have . . .
Strong IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office
Excellent communication and customer service skills
A keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills
The ability to use initiative and prioritise workload effectively
A team-focused approach with the confidence to work independently
Respect for safeguarding, confidentiality and professionalism at all times
A positive attitude and a genuine passion for supporting education
We will need to be able to obtain references to cover the last 2 years as a minimum, and you will need to be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check if you don't already have a DBS on the update service.
