The Role
As a SeniorElectrical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering innovativeand technically robust electrical building services designs across a range ofdefence and secure environment projects.
Responsibilitieswill include:
- Leadingelectrical design packages from concept through to completion.
- Producingdetailed calculations, specifications, reports and technical drawings.
- Managing projectdeliverables, budgets and programme requirements.
- Collaboratingwith multidisciplinary design teams and key stakeholders.
- Undertaking sitevisits, surveys and design reviews.
- Mentoring juniorengineers and supporting technical development within the team.
- Ensuring designscomply with industry regulations, security requirements and clientspecifications.
About You:
To be considered,you should possess:
- Degreequalification in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or arelated discipline.
- Proven experiencedelivering electrical building services design projects within a consultancy orcontractor design environment.
- Current SCClearance (or eligibility to maintain existing clearance).
- Strongunderstanding of UK building regulations, British Standards and industry bestpractice.
- Experience usingindustry-standard design software such as Revit and AutoCAD.
