Your new role As an Accounts Semi-Senior, you will work closely with managers and senior team members, supporting a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of industries.Key responsibilities will include:
Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Assisting with the preparation of corporation tax returns and VAT returns
Producing management accounts and financial statements
Supporting audit assignments and undertaking audit fieldwork where required
Preparing personal and corporation tax computations
Liaising directly with clients and responding to day-to-day queries
Ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines
Supporting and mentoring junior team members
Building strong relationships with clients and colleagues
What you'll need to succeed
Part-qualified AAT, ACA or ACCA, or actively studying towards a professional qualification
Previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment
Strong communication and client relationship skills
Good working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
A proactive and team-oriented approach
