Hays Education are working with a specialist educational setting in Rugby to recruit caring and dedicated Learning Support Assistants to support students with additional needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and have experience working with children or young people in schools, care settings, youth work, coaching, or support work.
The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Provide classroom support to students with a range of additional needs
- Work on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Support students' academic, social and emotional development
- Encourage independence and confidence
- Assist with behaviour management and engagement in learning
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to help students achieve their goals

- Experience working with children or young people
- A positive, patient and resilient attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with students
- A genuine passion for supporting young people to succeed
