Hays Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Lancashire to recruit an experienced and dedicated Year 6 Intervention Teacher. This is a full-time position commencing after the October half-term break and continuing until May half-term.
This rewarding role will involve working closely with Year 6 pupils to deliver targeted intervention sessions, helping them build confidence and make accelerated progress in preparation for their SATs. You will work collaboratively with the wider teaching team to identify learning gaps and implement effective strategies to support pupil achievement.Your new role
What you'll need to succeed
- Deliver targeted intervention sessions in English and Mathematics to Year 6 pupils.
- Support pupils working towards age-related expectations and greater depth outcomes.
- Track progress and adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs.
- Work closely with class teachers and senior leaders to maximise pupil attainment.
- Create engaging and supportive learning environments that promote confidence and success.
