Premises Manager (School)Location: Bermondsey, London Salary: £37,000 - £38,000 per annum Contract: Temporary to Permanent Start Date: Ideally 7th September 2026 Hours: Split Shift (6:00am - 10:00am and 2:00pm - 5:00pm) The Role We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Premises Manager to join a busy and welcoming school in Bermondsey. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on facilities professional looking for a long-term role within an educational environment.Working on a split-shift basis, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management, maintenance, security, and operational running of the school site, ensuring that the premises remain safe, secure, and well-maintained at all times. Key Responsibilities Opening and securing the school site each day. Carrying out routine site inspections and basic maintenance tasks. Coordinating repairs and liaising with external contractors. Managing health and safety compliance across the premises. Conducting regular safety checks and risk assessments. Ensuring the school grounds, buildings, and facilities are clean, safe, and operational. Supporting with emergency repairs and site-related issues.
