A leading civil engineering and infrastructure contractor is expanding its delivery team across the Anglian Water framework. Due to a growing portfolio of projects, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager to support the successful delivery of water and wastewater schemes. They have opportunities across the framework, so they welcome interest from across the region. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor with a strong pipeline of work and the flexibility to work on a range of projects throughout the framework.
Your new role
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of water infrastructure projects from commencement through to completion.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing day-to-day site operations
- Leading site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and within budget
- Driving health, safety, environmental and quality standards on site
- Coordinating project activities and site logistics
- Producing and reviewing RAMS and permits where required
- Maintaining communication with project managers, engineers and key stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with client and company procedures
- Managing site records, progress reporting and documentation
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience as a Site Manager on water or wastewater projects
- SMSTS certificate
- CSCS card
- Experience managing subcontractors and direct labour
- Strong health and safety awareness
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Full UK driving licence
