A well-established mid-tier accountancy firm based in Central London is seeking an experienced Private Client Tax Manager to join the team on a short-term contract basis. This assignment has arisen due to increased workloads and will provide valuable support during a busy period while maintaining excellent service levels for a diverse portfolio of private clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced private client tax professional looking for a flexible contract role within a respected and collaborative practice environment.
Your new role
Managing a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, business owners and family groups.
Reviewing and preparing self-assessment tax returns.
Advising clients on income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax matters.
Providing support on tax planning projects and advisory work.
Reviewing work completed by junior members of the team and offering technical guidance where required.
Acting as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring queries are handled efficiently and professionally.
Liaising with partners and directors on complex tax matters.
Ensuring compliance deadlines are met throughout the assignment.
What you'll need to succeed
CTA and/or ATT qualified, with relevant private client tax experience.
Previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice environment.
Strong technical knowledge of personal tax compliance and advisory matters.
Experience managing a varied portfolio of private clients.
Comfortable working independently and quickly building client relationships.
Available to start at short notice or immediately preferred.
