Your new company
You will be joining an established civil engineering contractor delivering a project within the United Utilities network. Due to ongoing workload, they are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager on an initial 6-month contract, with potential for further work.
Your new role
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of a new Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) installation. You will manage site operations, health & safety, quality and programme to ensure the works are delivered safely and efficiently.
The works will include:
- Deep excavations and temporary works
- Reinforced concrete (FRC) works and concrete pours
- Construction of a new chamber
- Installation and connection of associated pipework
- Coordination of site teams
- Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme, quality and H&S requirements
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous Site Management experience within civil engineering, ideally on water, wastewater, deep drainage or similar infrastructure projects. Experience delivering deep excavations and reinforced concrete works would be particularly beneficial.You will also require:
- SMSTS
- CSCS
- First Aid
What you'll get in return
