Your new role
As Senior Project Manager, you will take responsibility for projects throughout the full life cycle, acting as a key client contact and leading multidisciplinary teams.Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading projects from inception through to completion
- Acting as the key day-to-day client interface and trusted advisor
- Managing project programmes, budgets, governance and resources
- Leading multidisciplinary consultant and stakeholder teams
- Managing procurement strategies and tender processes
- Undertaking contract administration
- Taking responsibility for project commercial performance
- Identifying and managing project risks
- Mentoring and supporting junior Project Management colleagues
- Supporting business development and the continued growth of the regional team
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have:
- A relevant degree within construction, property or project management
- Strong experience within a consultancy or client-side Project Management environment
- Experience delivering complex projects across the public and/or private sectors
- The ability to confidently manage clients, consultants and multiple stakeholders
- Strong commercial and project management capabilities
- Experience with JCT and/or NEC contracts
- Professional chartership such as MRICS, MCIOB or ChPP would be highly advantageous.
