Your new company
A well-established international technology solutions business operating within the leisure and hospitality sector is seeking a Finance & Administration Manager to join its UK leadership team.
As part of a larger European group, the business provides innovative, technology-led services to customers across the UK and international markets.
Your new role
Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the Group Finance function, you will act as a trusted business partner, leading all aspects of finance, administration and operational support.
Key responsibilities will include
- Leading all financial management activities including cash flow forecasting, treasury management and working capital optimisation.
- Managing month-end processes, management accounts and statutory reporting.
- Overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, VAT compliance and general ledger activities.
- Producing budgets, forecasts and performance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Delivering detailed KPI reporting and profitability analysis across products, services and projects.
- Managing relationships with auditors, banks, insurers, external accountants and regulatory bodies.
- Leading and developing a small finance and administration team.
- Driving ERP system enhancements, process improvements and digital transformation initiatives.
- Overseeing contracts, insurance, facilities management, fleet management, IT resources and indirect procurement.
- Implementing and maintaining robust financial controls and risk management procedures.
- What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will be a hands-on finance professional who enjoys operating in a broad role within a growing SME environment. You will ideally have:
- Relevant finance, accounting or business qualification.
- Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Finance & Administration Manager or similar leadership position.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting, management reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
- Experience managing cash flow and treasury activities.
- Strong understanding of VAT, taxation and financial compliance requirements.
- Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, Lookups and complex formulas.
- ERP system experience and a passion for continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive, adaptable and commercially focused approach.
