A school in Middlesbrough is seeking an experienced and organised School Administrator to provide short-term support within a busy school office.
This is a full-time temporary position for approximately 1-2 weeks, starting on 12th October 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for an administrator who can quickly adapt to a fast-paced environment and provide efficient support to staff, pupils, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing administrative support to the school office.
- Managing incoming calls, emails, and visitor enquiries.
- Maintaining accurate pupil and staff records.
- Supporting attendance and safeguarding administration.
- Updating school databases and filing systems.
- Assisting with general office duties and correspondence.
- Supporting senior leaders and office staff as required.
Essential Requirements
Previous administrative experience.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a busy environment.
An Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service is ESSENTIAL.
Available to start on 12th October 2026.
Desirable
- Previous experience working within a school or educational setting.
- Knowledge of school management systems such as SIMS, Arbor, or Bromcom.
