Are you an experienced English Teacher or Tutor with a passion for helping students achieve their GCSE potential?
We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated KS4 English Tutor to deliver targeted intervention sessions for Year 10 and Year 11 students. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact on student progress in the lead-up to GCSE examinations.
The Role
You will provide focused support to students through small group and intervention sessions, helping them develop confidence, improve attainment, and strengthen key examination skills.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering targeted GCSE English intervention sessions
- Supporting students in both English Language and English Literature
- Developing students' exam technique, revision strategies, and subject knowledge
- Identifying learning gaps and tailoring support accordingly
- Motivating students and helping them build confidence ahead of exams
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Recent experience teaching or tutoring GCSE English
- Strong knowledge of the current GCSE English curriculum
- Familiarity with GCSE exam specifications and assessment requirements
- Experience supporting students to improve attainment and exam performance
- Excellent communication and engagement skills
- A passion for helping young people succeed
