Therapy Assistant in Medway

Ripplevale School and College is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Therapy Assistant to join our supportive and progressive team. As Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in developing the skills and coping strategies that enable learners to excel academically, socially, and emotionally. Under the guidance of the Occupational Therapist and the Speech and Language Therapist, you will assist learners in accessing educational opportunities, developing independence, and pursuing their individual aspirations and outcomes. You will collaborate as an integral member of our dynamic Multi-Disciplinary Team to implement person-centred strategies and support learners in achieving the objectives outlined in their Individual Learning Plans (ILPs). Your work will be informed by each learner's Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) as well as the professional recommendations provided by the Occupational Therapist and Speech and Language Therapist. Key Responsibilities: Support the implementation of Therapy-led interventions, both on a one-to-one basis and in group settings. Execute tailored strategies and activities that are aligned with the outcomes specified in EHCPs.
