Your New Role A leading Tier 1 infrastructure contractor is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join a major wastewater treatment upgrade project in Leicestershire. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of a significant capital investment scheme involving process treatment installations, pumping systems, chemical dosing infrastructure, pipework and commissioning activities.Working closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team, you will be responsible for coordinating design, procurement, installation, commissioning and handover activities to ensure successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities Prepare and author technical scopes of work Review and assess mechanical supplier and subcontractor tenders Manage mechanical design queries and technical interfaces Coordinate mechanical design and construction activities Produce and manage quality documentation and digital records Oversee supply chain performance and programme delivery Support procurement of mechanical equipment and materials Attend site inspections, testing and commissioning activities Liaise with designers, subcontractors and site teams to resolve technical issues Develop and manage Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) Support risk assessments, method statements and ...
