Your new company
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fencer to join a busy social housing maintenance team, carrying out fencing works across occupied and void domestic properties.
Your new role
You will be responsible for completing a variety of fencing repairs, replacements and installations across a portfolio of social housing properties. Duties will include:
- Installing and replacing timber fencing
- Fitting fence panels, posts, rails and gravel boards
- Installing and repairing garden gates
- Removing damaged or existing fencing
- Digging out and setting new fence posts
- Concreting posts securely into position
- Completing general fencing repairs and maintenance
- Working within occupied and void social housing properties
- Ensuring work is completed to a high standard
- Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience as a Fencer
- Experience working within social housing, domestic properties or property maintenance
- Good knowledge of timber fencing installation and repairs
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily workload
- Good customer service skills when working around tenants
