Hays is recruiting an experienced Contracts Manager for an established healthcare organisation. You'll manage a specialist portfolio including covering products, capital equipment, service contracts and supplier agreements, taking ownership of tendering, negotiations, contract performance and commercial risk.
We're looking for an established contracts/procurement professional with strong commercial negotiation skills and ideally previous healthcare or closely related regulated-sector experience.Your new role
- Lead tenders, contract reviews and commercial negotiations
- Manage contracts for consumables and specialist products
- Support procurement of capital equipment and medical devices
- Manage service, maintenance and supplier agreements
- Negotiate contractual terms and identify commercial and contractual risk
- Monitor supplier and contract performance
- Support major procurement projects and capital investment
- Identify savings, efficiencies and commercial opportunities
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
What you'll need to succeed
We're looking for an established Contracts Manager or Contracts professional who can operate independently and make an immediate impact.You'll ideally bring:
- Strong end-to-end procurement and contract management experience
- Excellent tendering and commercial negotiation skills
- Experience managing complex supplier contracts
- Strong knowledge of contractual risk and governance
- Confidence working with senior and operational stakeholders
- The ability to work proactively with minimal supervision
- Healthcare or a closely related regulated-sector background
- CIPS or a relevant degree-level qualification preferred
