Our client, a successful, stable & established company based in the Stockport area, is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger specialist to join their small finance function and become a key member of their finance family!!
Your new role
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership and making a real impact. You will have full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the purchase ledger, ensuring supplier payments are processed accurately and on time while maintaining strong working relationships across the business.
Working within a close-knit team, you'll enjoy a varied role that goes beyond traditional purchase ledger duties, with involvement in stock management, month-end activities, and providing support to the wider finance function. This position would suit a proactive individual who takes pride in delivering accurate work, improving processes, and keeping the department running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the end-to-end purchase ledger process.
- Process, code, and match supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Record purchases (stock) and maintain accurate stock records within the system.
- Reconcile supplier statements and investigate any discrepancies if they arise.
