Our client, a leading Logistics company, are looking for a confident, articulate Operations Controller/Scheduler to join their business on a permanent basis. Working on a hybrid basis (4 days in the office / 1 day working from home) with great hours (Monday - Friday: 8.30am - 5.00pm), and with an amazing opportunity to progress, this is an incredible opportunity for the right candidate. Our client have been established for a number of years and operate nationally. They are now seeking 1 x more candidate to join their Operations department.
In a nutshell, your responsibilities will include:
- Handling 50+ daily interactions (75% internal employees / 25% external customers)
- Scheduling customer visits for internal staff / managing diaries of Drivers
- Handling any customer returns/complaints (as / when required)
- Ordering parts for customers (wherever necessary)
- Offering an exceptional service to all external customers
- Working in unison with internal staff
In order to be considered for this position, it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following:
- Experience of working in an inbound call / email environment (ability to handle volume daily interactions)
- Experience of managing diary / scheduling work for others
- Articulate, professional telephone manner
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to problem-solve
- Fun, sociable personality
In addition to a very competitive salary of £30,000 - £32,000, our client are also offering the following:
