You will join a technology-led project focused on integrating Product Lifecycle Management systems with wider engineering, manufacturing, ERP and enterprise application environments.
The organisation is looking for experienced software and integration developers who can learn new technologies quickly and apply their skills within a complex integration delivery environment.
Your new role
As an Integration Developer or Technical Lead, you will design and develop integrations between PLM, engineering, manufacturing, ERP and other enterprise applications.
You will work with APIs, databases and structured data formats to connect systems, map and transform data, and troubleshoot integration issues.
Existing e Qube MI development experience is preferred but is not mandatory.
Candidates with strong integration development experience who can quickly learn and apply new technologies will also be considered.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop integrations between enterprise applications.
- Integrate PLM systems with wider engineering and manufacturing application ecosystems.
- Create and consume REST, OData and SOAP services.
- Work with HTTP, XML, JSON, SQL and database concepts.
- Develop data mappings and transformations between different applications.
- Investigate and resolve system-integration and data-flow issues.
- Apply existing software development experience to new technologies and integration tools.
- Work with applications across PLM, ERP, CAD, EAM, engineering and manufacturing environments.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership where required.

Essential skills and experience
- Proven software development or integration development experience.
- Experience designing and developing integrations between enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of HTTP, database concepts and XML.
- Experience with at least one programming language.
- Experience creating or consuming APIs.
- An understanding of REST services, OData or SOAP messaging.
- Experience troubleshooting application integrations or data-exchange issues.
- The ability to learn unfamiliar technologies quickly and apply them within a delivery environment.
- The ability to meet BPSS requirements.
Desirable skills and experience
- e Qube MI development experience.
- Experience with REST services, OData and SOAP messaging.
- Experience with JSON, SQL, data mapping and data transformation.
