Electrical Supervisor Prison Project - London Competitive Day Rate Long-Term Temporary Contract
A leading Tier 1 contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to support the delivery of a major fire safety upgrade programme within a secure prison environment.This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-term project focused on the installation and upgrade of critical fire detection, alarm and life safety systems across operational prison facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise electrical installation teams delivering fire safety system upgrades.
Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project specifications.
Coordinate subcontractors and site operatives.
Monitor quality, progress and compliance with health & safety requirements.
Conduct toolbox talks, site inspections and permit reviews.
Liaise with project management and prison stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
Essential Requirements
SMSTS
CSCS Card
First Aid at Work
Proven experience supervising electrical works on construction or refurbishment projects.
Strong understanding of health & safety and site compliance procedures.
Experience working within live or highly regulated environments is advantageous.
Security ClearanceDue to the nature of the project, all successful applicants will be required to:
Pass BPSS Clearance
Successfully complete Ministry of Justice (MOJ) Vetting
Be eligible to work within a secure custodial environment
