Hays Facilities Management are delighted to be working with a leading FM and Building Services organisation who are looking to appoint an experienced Contract Manager to oversee the delivery of a prestigious Hard Services FM contract in Central London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proven FM professional with a strong building services background to take ownership of contract performance, compliance, client relationships and operational delivery across a high-profile portfolio.
Your New Role As Contract Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all services are delivered in line with contractual obligations, budget expectations and operational KPIs.
Key responsibilities will include
- Leading and managing directly employed engineering and building services teams.
- Ensuring contractual KPIs and SLAs are consistently achieved.
- Overseeing all Hard Services FM operations, maintenance programmes and compliance activities.
- Driving Health & Safety, environmental and quality performance across the contract.
- Managing resource planning, recruitment and workforce requirements.
- Leading client meetings, audits and performance reviews.
- Managing risk registers, F-Gas compliance and asset replacement programmes.
- Monitoring financial performance and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Building strong relationships with clients, suppliers and key stakeholders.
- What You'll Need to Succeed
- Minimum 5 years' experience managing Hard Services FM contracts.
- Strong technical understanding of building services engineering.
- Previous experience managing commercial office environments or multi-site portfolios.
- Experience leading engineering teams and subcontractors.
- Knowledge of statutory compliance, H&S legislation and FM best practice.
- Strong commercial awareness and budget management experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant technical and/or management qualifications (IOSH, NEBOSH, HNC/HND, IWFM or equivalent desirable).
