A leading global organisation operating within complex physical market and trading environments is seeking a Business Analyst to join its Transformation and Systems function. This role will support the delivery of a significant strategic transformation programme, focusing on both the implementation of a new strategic platform and the analysis of legacy applications as part of a wider technology modernisation initiative. You will work closely with business stakeholders, operational teams, technology partners, and project resources to ensure business processes are effectively documented, tested, adopted, and transitioned into operational use.
Details:
- Location - London
- Hybrid - 3 days / week in office is a must
- Duration - Initially 6 months with a strong possibility of extension
- Rate - £550-£650 / day Inside IR35 via Umbrella
Core skills:
- 2-5 years' experience in Business Analysis, Process Improvement, Change or Transformation roles - max experience up to 7-8 years
- Experience within Commodities is a must
- Experience working with legacy systems
- Platform migration experience
- Financial services experience
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, process maps, and stakeholder needs.
- Good understanding of operational process, and how it interacts with strategic priorities.
- Practical experience working with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Confidence to follow up as required, obtaining information from multiple sources often under time pressure, to deliver work as requested.
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Project would be advantageous.
- Exposure to Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies is beneficial.
