I am working with a global professional services business investing heavily in its internal AI capability and looking to bring more engineering expertise in-house. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building and integrating AI solutions.
You'll work in a modern Microsoft environment, developing applications, automations, dashboards and AI agents, while also getting involved with APIs, light coding and broader agentic solutions where low-code is not enough. The role will suit someone who combines strong technical capability with good stakeholder skills.
You'll work closely with internal teams, help translate business problems into practical solutions, and contribute to a growing AI capability with genuine visibility across the organisation. You'll be working with technologies including Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 and Azure, alongside REST APIs, JSON and scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell or JavaScript.
There is also a significant applied AI element, including building and refining AI agents, working with model APIs, retrieval over internal information sources, structured outputs, prompt design and improving solutions once they are in production.
This could be a particularly good opportunity for someone coming from a Power Platform, Microsoft consultancy, AI solutions or solutions engineering background who wants broader ownership and the opportunity to help shape an emerging AI function. You do not need to be the finished article with every technology listed, but you should be technically confident, comfortable building real solutions and keen to develop.
