The Role
As a Facilities Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the school site. You will work as part of the school's facilities team, ensuring classrooms, communal areas, offices, and welfare facilities remain clean, tidy, and safe.
Key Responsibilities
- General cleaning of classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, changing rooms, and communal areas
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
- Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors
- Cleaning touchpoints, furniture, windows, and surfaces
- Replenishing cleaning and hygiene supplies
- Supporting the school's health and safety standards
- Reporting maintenance concerns or health and safety issues
- Assisting with room setup and general site duties where required
