We're working with an award-winning multidisciplinary consultancy to recruit a Geo-Environmental Engineer to join their growing Liverpool team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with around 1-4 years' experience looking to accelerate their career. For the first 6-9 months, you'll play a key role on a major 4,000-unit residential development in South Manchester, supervising ground investigation and site works before transitioning into a varied consultancy role supporting projects across the residential, commercial, industrial and education sectors.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supervising ground investigation and site activities on a major residential development
- Logging ground conditions and overseeing site works
- Assisting with factual and interpretative reporting
- Undertaking Phase 1 Desk Studies and Preliminary Risk Assessments
- Supporting contaminated land and geotechnical assessments
- Designing and managing ground investigations
- Liaising with contractors, clients and project stakeholders
- Working alongside civil, structural and transport planning teams
What You'll Bring
- 1-4 years' experience within a geo-environmental, contaminated land or ground investigation consultancy
- Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Site investigation and reporting experience
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A proactive approach and desire to develop professionally
- Full UK driving licence preferred
