A confidential public sector organisation is seeking an experienced Application Developer - DevOps to support a mission-critical live service environment. You will join a team responsible for maintaining, supporting, and enhancing newly delivered technical services and operational capabilities.
Your new role
You will support live-service operations, contribute to the ongoing support of critical technical environments, and help improve operational efficiency through automation. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining knowledge-base documentation, developing technical procedures, automating runbooks, investigating operational issues, and working across a broad range of technologies and services.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience working within a live-service or operational support environment.
- Familiarity with AIOps concepts and associated tooling.
- Experience using ServiceNow.
- Strong documentation and procedural writing skills.
- Proactive problem-solving and troubleshooting capability.
- Ability to learn and work across a diverse technology landscape.
- Minimum five years' continuous UK residency.
