Your new role
As a Plumber, you will be responsible for carrying out responsive repairs, planned maintenance, and installation works across occupied and void residential properties.Key responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing and repairing plumbing faults
- Installing and replacing sanitary ware, taps, sinks, baths, and toilets
- Carrying out pipework repairs and replacements
- Identifying and resolving water leaks
- Working on hot and cold water systems
- Completing bathroom refurbishment works where required
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Providing excellent customer service when working within tenants' homes
- Completing job sheets and reports accurately
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent qualification)
- Proven experience working within domestic maintenance, social housing, or property services
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of current plumbing regulations and best practices
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Full UK driving licence
- A positive and flexible approach to work
