Our client is a well-established property maintenance and refurbishment contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality services across residential and commercial properties.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Operative with a strong background in Painting & Decorating to join their expanding team.
Your new role
As a Multi-Skilled Operative, your primary trade will be Painting & Decorating, while also carrying out a range of general maintenance and repair work as required.
Key responsibilities will include
- Internal and external painting and decorating works
- Surface preparation, filling, sanding, and finishing
- Wallpaper removal and redecoration
- Basic repairs including carpentry, patch plastering, tiling, and other multi-trade tasks
- Responsive and planned maintenance works
- Working across occupied and void properties
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales
- Delivering excellent customer service whilst on site
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures
- What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will have
- Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator within a maintenance environment
- Multi-skilled maintenance experience across additional trades
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in your work
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Relevant trade qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential
