Your new role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate to join a growing Employment team in Leeds. This role offers exposure to high-quality respondent employment work, advising a diverse portfolio of employer clients on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters. You will play a key role in managing client relationships, leading on complex cases, supporting junior lawyers and contributing to the continued growth of the practice. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to understand their strategic objectives and deliver pragmatic, commercially focused advice that helps them navigate challenging workplace issues.
Key responsibilities:
- Advising employers on a broad range of employment law matters
- Managing Employment Tribunal litigation from inception through to resolution
- Providing strategic and commercially focused advice on employee relations issues
- Drafting and reviewing contracts of employment, policies and settlement agreements
- Supporting corporate transactions with employment law expertise
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Delivering client training, seminars and employment law updates
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team
