Hays Senior Finance are supporting a highly successful, PE-backed organisation in the West Midlands with the recruitment of a Management Accountant/Finance Analyst on a permanent basis. Your new role
Working closely with the CFO and wider finance team, you will play a key role in supporting financial reporting, business integration projects, cashflow management and the development of robust controls across a multi-entity environment.
- Produce month-end management accounts and performance reporting across multiple business units
- Support the integration and financial reporting of newly acquired businesses
- Own weekly cashflow reporting and forecasting activities
- Develop and enhance KPIs, management information and business performance reporting
- Assist with process improvement initiatives and strengthening internal controls
- Partner with operational teams to improve financial information flows and reporting accuracy
- Contribute to wider finance transformation projects, including ERP implementation, automation and systems integration
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Strong experience of month-end reporting and management accounting
- Technically strong and demonstrated knowledge of UK accounting standards and principles
- Good understanding of relevant tax related matters (corporation tax, VAT etc.)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across the business
- Comfortable working within a fast-moving and entrepreneurial environment
- Strong Excel skills and good working knowledge of ERP systems
