Hays are now looking for a Java Engineer / AWS Serverless Engineer (SC Cleared ) for one of our local clients: £428 p/d Inside IR35 Remote (occasional travel to London) 6 month+ contract Candidates must hold current SC Clearance Role Overview We're looking for a hands-on Java Engineer to develop and support cloud-native services within an AWS environment. You'll work on Java microservices, REST APIs and serverless components, contributing across the full software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain Java-based microservices and APIs. Build and support AWS serverless solutions using Lambda. Design and consume REST and SOAP services. Write automated tests and contribute to CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with engineers, testers and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software. Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting and production support.
