Your new role
Internals Site Manager required to oversee all internal trades on a high-quality residential development with a ground-floor commercial unit on the outskirts of Cambridge.
This role will take ownership of the internal delivery phase, ensuring all finishing works are completed safely, on programme, to specification, and in line with the client's quality expectations. You will manage multiple subcontractors, coordinate trade interfaces, drive progress, and lead the project through snagging, handover, and practical completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all internal finishing works from first fix through to handover.
- Oversee subcontractors across all internal trade packages including drylining, carpentry, decorating, flooring, ceilings, M&E finishing, kitchens, bathrooms, and final fit-out works.
- Drive programme performance, ensuring internal works are delivered in line with key milestones and completion dates.
- Conduct regular quality inspections and proactively manage snagging to maintain the highest standards of workmanship.
- Coordinate trade interfaces and sequencing to minimise disruption and maximise productivity on site.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to develop and implement short-term programmes and recovery plans where required.
- Ensure all works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, building regulations, and project requirements.

- Lead the defect management and close-out process, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding works ahead of inspections and handover.
What you'll need to succeed:
- SMSTS/SSSTS (preferred, but not essential)
- CSCS (preferred, but not essential)
