Can you inspire creativity, imagination and confidence through Art and Design? The new academic year is already well underway, and we're starting to see a trend that kept us incredibly busy throughout last year. Long-term sickness and staff absence bookings are beginning to land.
Last academic year, Hays Education worked with secondary schools across Huddersfield to fill a significant number of long-term teaching vacancies caused by sickness, maternity leave, resignations and ongoing recruitment challenges. You'll be teaching Art and Design within a supportive secondary school environment, helping students develop their creativity, practical skills and artistic confidence. Schools are looking for teachers who can:

What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Art and Design within UK secondary schools
- Strong subject knowledge and classroom practice
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- Passion for inspiring young people through creativity
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to work in the UK
