Your new role
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in managing a varied client portfolio and delivering a range of accounting and tax services.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
• Managing client relationships, providing proactive advice and acting as a trusted point of contact.
• Preparing and reviewing corporation tax and self-assessment tax returns.
• Reviewing and submitting VAT returns.
• Liaising with clients, HMRC and internal colleagues to resolve queries and provide technical support.
• Supporting the development and mentoring of junior team members.
• Assisting senior management with client projects and wider business development initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

• ACA or ACCA qualification, or be qualified through relevant experience.
• Previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and UK accounting standards.
• Experience managing a portfolio of clients and building long-term relationships.
• Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive and client-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
