Your new company
Are you a commercially minded Web Merchandiser with an exceptional eye for detail and a passion for improving online product performance? This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-moving eCommerce team, take ownership of products across multiple Shopify stores and directly influence how customers discover, engage with and purchase products online.
You will join a collaborative and commercially focused eCommerce environment where accuracy, organisation and insight are central to delivering an effective online customer experience. Working closely with Buying, Commercial, Marketing and eCommerce colleagues, you will help ensure that new and existing products are presented accurately, launched successfully and positioned to support wider commercial objectives.
Your new role
As Web Merchandiser, you will manage and maintain products across multiple Shopify stores, ensuring that product titles, descriptions, specifications, imagery, pricing, variants and categorisation are accurate and consistent.
You will merchandise product ranges to improve product discovery, ensure new products are ready to launch in line with stock availability and commercial plans, and regularly review existing products to identify opportunities to improve their online presentation. You will also identify and resolve product setup, content and merchandising issues across the websites.
A key part of the role will involve reviewing product, brand and category performance. You will identify bestsellers, emerging trends and under performing products, investigate changes in sales performance and provide clear recommendations to improve product visibility and sales. You will also contribute to regular reporting and use data and insight to support trading and marketing decisions.
Working across the business, you will maintain visibility of new products, expected arrival dates, upcoming launches and changes to existing ranges. You will plan product builds in advance, gather the information and assets required for launch, and keep relevant stakeholders informed about launch readiness.
