You will be working for a well renowned financial services organisation, supporting a small but key team in finance.
Your new role
You will be working closely with the Financial Accountant. You will support the preparation of financial reports, statutory accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and month-end processes while contributing to continuous improvement across the finance function.
What you'll need to succeed
- You will ideally have a proactive and organised outlook and be someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and who can manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience in monthly management accounting.
- Experience assisting with statutory accounts preparation.
- Strong Excel skills and confidence using finance systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- The ability to work to strict deadlines.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of IFRS and/or UK GAAP principles would be advantageous.
- Experience within a large or international organisation would be beneficial.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract which offers hybrid working 3 days in Chatham, Kent and 2 working from home. This role would suit someone who lives locally.
