Hays Senior Finance has an exciting opportunity to join a highly entrepreneurial and diverse group of businesses operating across healthcare, residential property, property development and leisure.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will be joining a growing organisation where finance plays a central role in supporting commercial decision-making, improving controls and driving operational performance across multiple entities.
As Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the finance function across a varied group structure, partnering directly with the CEO and wider management team to provide financial leadership, commercial insight and operational support.
This is a broad, hands-on role where you will lead the production of management accounts, board reporting packs, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, project costing and financial modelling.
You will directly manage a junior member of the finance team and help develop their skills to support a growing finance operation.
You will also be responsible for statutory accounts preparation, VAT, in-house payroll, Companies House compliance, R D tax claims and wider financial governance.
In addition, you will oversee finance processes, strengthen controls, manage and develop team members, and support wider business operations including HR administration, property-related projects and key strategic initiatives.
