Senior Family Lawyer in Farnborough

Your new firm is a highly regarded and ambitious law firm with an excellent reputation for advising individuals and families on complex and sensitive legal matters. Recognised for its collaborative culture, client-first approach and commitment to professional development, the firm continues to experience growth across its private client offering and is seeking an experienced Family Lawyer to play a key role within its established team.

Your new role involves joining a thriving and well-respected family team as a senior Family Solicitor. You will advise clients across a broad range of family law matters, including divorce, financial remedy proceedings, private children matters, cohabitation disputes and domestic abuse cases. This role offers exposure to high-quality work, a loyal client base and the opportunity to take on a visible position within the department. You will lead matters from instruction through to resolution, represent clients at hearings where appropriate, and provide pragmatic, commercially focused advice tailored to individual circumstances. Alongside your client work, you will support the development of junior colleagues, strengthen existing client relationships and contribute to the continued growth and success of the practice through networking and business development activities.

What you'll need to succeed: You will be a qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with at least five years' PQE and a strong background in family law. The successful candidate will have proven experience handling both financial remedy and children matters, together with excellent client care and relationship management skills. You will be confident managing complex matters independently, supervising junior team members and developing new business opportunities. A commercial approach, strong technical ability and the ambition to play a strategic role within a growing department will be essential. An existing network of contacts or following would be advantageous but is not essential.
