Hays Education are working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in the Shipston-on-Stour area to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher for a full-time temp-to-perm opportunity.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified English specialist who is passionate about delivering engaging lessons and helping students achieve their full potential across Key Stages 3 and 4. The school is looking for a teacher who can make an immediate impact and become a long-term member of their team.
The Role
- Deliver high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Plan, prepare and assess student work in line with the national curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support students of varying abilities to achieve strong academic outcomes
- Work collaboratively with colleagues within the English department
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has recent experience teaching English within a UK secondary school
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Confident in delivering engaging and inspiring English lessons
- Committed to raising attainment and supporting student progress
- Looking for a long-term opportunity with the potential to secure a permanent position
