Your New Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join the school from 2nd November 2026 through to the end of the academic year. This is a part-time position working four days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday). The successful candidate will deliver:

  • History - KS3
  • Geography - KS3
  • Religious Studies - KS3 & KS4

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire students to develop a deeper understanding of the world around them, encouraging curiosity, critical thinking and a passion for learning. Working within a supportive Humanities department, you will help ensure students make excellent progress and achieve their full potential.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Humanities subjects at secondary level
  • Ability to teach Religious Studies at KS3 and KS4
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • A passion for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Commitment to raising attainment and supporting all learners
  • ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply
