Your new role
As Site Supervisor, you will oversee the safe and efficient delivery of vehicle restraint system (VRS), safety barrier and fencing installation works. Working closely with site teams and project management, you will ensure activities are completed to programme, budget and quality requirements whilst maintaining the highest health and safety standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising site teams and subcontractors
- Managing VRS, safety barrier and fencing installation activities
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements
- Monitoring progress against project programmes
- Undertaking quality inspections and site audits
- Coordinating labour, plant and materials
- Maintaining accurate site documentation and reports
- Liaising with clients, engineers and key stakeholders
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience as a Site Supervisor within highways, civil engineering or major infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of VRS, crash barriers, safety fencing and associated highway works
- Experience working on large-scale projects such as HS2, National Highways frameworks or similar infrastructure schemes
- SSSTS or SMSTS qualification
- CSCS Card
