Your new company
You'll be supporting a major transformation programme within a complex automotive and financial services environment.The programme will deliver both Operations and Development services and support several significant transformation initiatives, including mainframe modernisation, integration of financial services platforms with SaaS products, and transformation of the wider data landscape.
Your new role
As a Data Engineer / Data Modelling Specialist, you'll work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand existing processes and data requirements and translate these into effective enterprise data solutions.A key focus will be designing and maintaining conceptual, logical and physical data models, alongside database schemas and data structures that support scalable, reliable enterprise solutions.You'll also contribute to data integration, legacy modernisation and database optimisation while working alongside architecture, engineering and development teams across the wider transformation programme.
Key responsibilities
Work with business and technical stakeholders to understand business processes and data requirements.
Translate business requirements into enterprise data solutions and database designs.
Design and maintain conceptual, logical and physical data models.
Design and develop enterprise database schemas and data structures.
Build and maintain enterprise data solutions and integrations.
Optimise databases and data solutions for performance, scalability and reliability.
Support the transformation and modernisation of legacy data environments.
Contribute to data integration between enterprise applications, SaaS platforms and other systems.
Maintain appropriate standards across data quality, governance and performance.
Work alongside architecture, engineering and development teams across the wider programme.
