Credit Controller

Are you an experienced Credit Controller looking to join a growing and evolving business? My client is continuing to invest in its finance function and is looking for hardworking, resilient, and customer-focused Credit Controllers to join its established Credit Control team.
Following the implementation of a new finance system, this is an exciting time to join a business that is driving improvement, enhancing processes, and creating opportunities for ambitious finance professionals. You'll become part of a large, supportive team that plays a critical role in managing cash flow and building strong customer relationships across the business.
The Role
Working within a busy and fast-paced credit function, you'll be responsible for managing customer accounts, reducing aged debt, and ensuring payments are collected efficiently while maintaining excellent service levels.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of customer accounts.
- Chasing outstanding debt via phone and email.
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Investigating and resolving invoice and payment queries.
- Negotiating payment plans where appropriate.
- Allocating cash and reconciling accounts.
- Supporting month-end reporting activities.
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to resolve disputes and improve collections performance.
- Contributing to continuous process improvements following the recent system implementation.
About You

- Experienced in Credit Control, Collections, or Accounts Receivable.
- Confident communicating with customers at all levels.
- Resilient and tenacious when managing outstanding debt.
- Organised and able to prioritise a busy workload.
- Comfortable working towards team and individual targets.
