I'm currently looking to speak with KS2 teachers in Coventry who are interested in a long-term supply position starting in January. This would be a great opportunity for someone looking for the consistency of working within the same school and class, without necessarily committing to a permanent role.
Your new role
You will take responsibility for a KS2 class, delivering engaging lessons and providing continuity for pupils throughout the placement.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
- Creating a positive and supportive classroom environment
- Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
- Working closely with teaching assistants and other members of staff
- Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Recent experience teaching within a primary school
- A good understanding of the KS2 curriculum
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- The ability to commit to a long-term role from January
