We are currently working with a number of secondary schools seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of English to join their teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified English teacher looking for a flexible teaching position, whether on a temporary, long-term, or potentially permanent basis.The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, maintaining high standards of teaching and learning, and supporting students in achieving their full potential.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Previous experience teaching English within UK secondary schools
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- The ability to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school environments
- A genuine passion for English and student achievement
Desirable:
- Experience teaching Key Stage 5 English Language and/or Literature
- Access to a vehicle and the ability to drive, allowing flexibility across a wider geographical area
