Compliance Regulatory Reporting Manager in Coventry

A leading and growing financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Compliance Regulatory Reporting Manager to join its established Compliance team. Reporting directly to the Head of Compliance, you will play a key role in ensuring the business maintains a strong compliance framework whilst meeting its ongoing regulatory obligations within a highly regulated environment.

Your new role
This is a broad and varied compliance position combining regulatory reporting, compliance monitoring, governance and regulatory advisory responsibilities. You will take ownership of supporting regulatory submissions, validating reporting data and ensuring appropriate controls, documentation and audit trails are in place to support regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting and coordinating FCA regulatory reporting and submissions.
• Validating, reviewing and challenging regulatory data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Working closely with Finance, Risk, Operations and Data teams to gather and assess information.
• Delivering second-line compliance monitoring, assurance and control testing activities.
• Undertaking thematic reviews, compliance risk assessments and root cause analysis.
• Monitoring regulatory developments and assessing the impact on the business.
• Producing compliance MI, governance reporting and committee papers.
• Supporting wider compliance activities including Consumer Duty, Conduct Risk, AML, Financial Crime and Data Protection.
• Assisting with policy reviews, compliance projects and internal and external audits.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have previous compliance experience gained within an FCA-regulated financial services environment and be comfortable working with regulatory data and compliance controls.
You will ideally possess:

• At least 3 years' compliance experience within a regulated financial services organisation.
• Experience supporting FCA regulatory reporting, regulatory returns or regulatory submissions.
• Experience within compliance monitoring, assurance, audit or control testing activities.
• Strong analytical and data validation skills with the ability to identify anomalies and challenge information where required.
• Knowledge of UK financial services regulation and FCA expectations.
• Experience preparing management information, governance reporting and committee papers.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to challenge where necessary.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain clear, audit-ready documentation.

Experience gained within, leasing, consumer finance, banking or insurance would be highly advantageous, alongside exposure to Consumer Duty, Financial Crime, Conduct Risk, Data Protection or regulatory change activities.

French language skills would be beneficial but are not essential.
What you'll get in return
