Hays Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Chorley area to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Primary Teacher. This well-established school has a strong community ethos and is committed to providing a high-quality education that enables every child to achieve their full potential.
Your new role
As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum. You will create a positive and stimulating learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on pupil progress
- Creating an inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
- Managing behaviour effectively in accordance with school policies
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to achieve the best outcomes for pupils
- Contributing to the wider life of the school community
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- The ability to inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their best
- ECTs are encouraged to apply and will be fully supported within the role.
